You may have noticed the lack of front page activity over the last 12 months.....this is due to a few reasons, but generally its lack of effort on my part.

For that I apologise. I had been working on a new site for about a year until my second child was born, and then that took a back seat. I've now realised that a lot of unfinished work is sitting around waiting to be seen, so I've decided to spend time getting that up and running, as its the least I can do for people that are loyal to this website.

I am open for any help - testers, debuggers, hackers, designers, and content providers - just email newsite@bassdrop.co.nz - no time wasters please.

In a week that hasn't been without drama, you could possibly be forgiven for forgetting that NZ's all-conquering dubstep heroes, Truth, released their debut album this week. Consisting of 15 tracks of their unique bassweight compositions, this is definitely in the running to be one of the best dubstep albums of the year. Never mind the chainsaw ear-rape, this is dubstep at its roots. With the album's release this week and ahead of their launch gig at Sandwiches this weekend, Matty Baseline took some time to run some questions by the trio.
